A TBS, also known as temporary building supply, allows builders and tradies to work when there is no permanent connection to the site. We supply temporary private poles, switchboards, power points, consumer mains lines and electrical meters connected to overhead or underground service mains.

Regular electricians are not competent to set up a temporary builder’s power supply. Installing them can only be done by ASP (Authorised Service Provider) Level 2 ASP Electricians who hold the necessary qualifications and accreditation. So if you’re planning to build or renovate your house, let our Level 2 ASP electricians set up a private pole to your construction site’s electricity network safely.

How do I get a Temporary Power Supply Connection?

Identify your electricity requirements and determine the amount of electricity needed, such as single or three phase overhead supply. Then contact us to schedule a visit for an inspection of the site and to allow everything to be cleared.

What happens after TBS is removed?
It will be necessary to arrange a permanent power connection for residential and commercial purposes after the construction is completed. After the temporary electricity is disconnected, the permanent underground consumer mains are connected on top of the private pole.
When is temporary building supply required?
